Institutions must comply with the own funds, capital requirements, large exposures, leverage, reporting and disclosure Parts on an individual basis (Part Eight only where not a parent or subsidiary), and with the liquidity Part individually unless a waiver applies; certain CCP and CSD-authorised institutions are relieved of the net stable funding ratio. Parent institutions in a Member State, approved financial holding companies and mixed financial holding companies comply with those Parts on the basis of their consolidated situation, using the prudential consolidation methods of Article 18, and EU parent institutions comply with the liquidity Part on a consolidated basis where the group contains firms dealing on own account or underwriting. Parents and subsidiaries must set up an organisational structure and internal controls that ensure consolidation data are properly processed and forwarded, including by subsidiaries outside the Regulation's scope. G-SII resolution entities meet the own funds and eligible liabilities requirement on the levels set in Articles 6(1a) and 11(3a).
