Clause 5.1: Secure design (Principles 1 to 4) – ETSI EN 304 223 Securing AI

ETSI EN 304 223 Securing AI 5.1.1-2: Ongoing staff awareness of AI threats, with secure AI coding training for developers

What does 5.1.1-2 require?

Within the wider staff training programme, every employee is expected to keep up with current AI-related threats and vulnerabilities and, where known, the mitigations for them; the organisation pushes these updates through more than one channel (bulletins, newsletters, internal knowledge bases) so they reach everyone. Developers additionally get trained in secure coding and in designing systems for AI work, centred on preventing and containing weaknesses in algorithms, models and the software around them.
