RAM risk (loss of service value, delays, cancellations) is reduced by improving reliability (design tolerances, derating, quality management of procurement, manufacture and installation, condition monitoring and preventive maintenance) and availability (redundancy, degraded-mode operation, maintainability, sufficient support resources), with the phase at which each measure applies identified, and by the specification, verification and validation activities that prevent systematic failures; RAM is considered from phases 1 to 4 so the measures can be combined.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
