Ecuador Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos Personales (LOPDP) 10(a)-(c): Art. 10(a) to (c): lawfulness (juridicidad), loyalty and transparency

Data must be processed in strict compliance with the Constitution, international instruments, the Act, its Reglamento and applicable rules and case law; processing must be loyal, so data subjects know that data concerning them are collected, used or consulted and how, and data may never be processed by unlawful or disloyal means or for such purposes; and all information and communication about processing must be easily accessible and understandable, in simple and clear language.
