Recurring incidents that are not individually major are treated as one major incident where they occurred at least twice within six months, share the same apparent root cause under DORA Article 20(b), and together meet the Article 8(1) criteria. The entity must check for recurring incidents monthly. This does not apply to microenterprises or to the entities listed in DORA Article 16(1).
