Cyber Security Act 2024 (Australia) 19: s 19 Comply with a recall notice: stop acquisition and supply, arrange return

Where an entity given a stop notice has not complied or its actions are inadequate, the Secretary may, after notice and at least 10 days for representations, give a recall notice requiring the entity to ensure so far as within its control that the product is not acquired in Australia and not supplied to suppliers for supply in Australia, and to arrange the return of the product within a specified reasonable period to the entity or the manufacturer; failure to comply lets the Minister publish the entity's identity, the product, the non-compliance, the risks and the recall details with recommended consumer actions such as destroying the product (s 20 with Rules s 11).
