COPPA 312.6: § 312.6 Right of parent to review personal information provided by a child

On request of a parent whose child has provided personal information, the operator must give a description of the specific types or categories of personal information collected from children; the opportunity at any time to refuse further use or future online collection and to direct deletion of the child's information; and a means of reviewing the information collected from the child that ensures the requester is the parent, taking account of available technology, and is not unduly burdensome. Good-faith disclosure under reasonable procedures carries no liability, and the operator may terminate service to a child whose parent refuses further use or directs deletion, subject to 312.7.
