Connecticut General Statutes Section 52-570d (Recording Private Telephone Conversations) 52-570d(a): 52-570d(a) Record a private phone call only with prior all-party consent, a recorded verbal notice, or a repeating warning tone

No person may use any instrument, device or equipment to record an oral private telephonic communication unless the recording is (1) preceded by the consent of all parties, obtained in writing or as part of the recording at its start, (2) preceded by a verbal notification by the recording party that is recorded at the beginning and forms part of the communication, or (3) accompanied by an automatic tone warning device producing a distinct signal repeated at intervals of about fifteen seconds while recording. Any aggrieved person may sue for damages, costs and a reasonable attorney's fee (52-570d(c)).
