Use a unique password for every enterprise asset. Good practice sets a floor of 8 characters for accounts protected by multi-factor authentication and 14 characters where MFA is not used. Implementation Groups: IG1, IG2 and IG3 (part of the IG1 essential cyber hygiene baseline, so every enterprise applies it). Asset type: Users. Security function: Protect.
