Bank of Mauritius Guideline on Use of Cloud Services (2022) 1.4: Branches and subsidiaries of foreign banks adopt group strategy and policy only where they meet the guideline

What does 1.4 require?

A branch or subsidiary of a foreign bank may adopt the parent bank's cloud strategy and cloud use policy provided they meet the requirements of this guideline. A branch with no local advisory board or committee makes sure material cloud services are approved by the parent bank's board of directors or by the sub-committee or authority the parent designates.
