A PCBU ensures that the regulator (Comcare) is notified immediately after it becomes aware that a notifiable incident arising out of the conduct of its business or undertaking has occurred, by the fastest possible means, by telephone or in writing (including email or electronic form). A telephone notifier gives the details the regulator asks for and, if the regulator requires, a written notice within 48 hours of the requirement. A written notice uses the form or contains the details the regulator approves.
