Australia Therapeutic Goods Act 1989
Chapters 5A, 6 and 7: enforcement, administration, charges, scheduling and executive officer liability – Australia Therapeutic Goods Act 1989

Australia Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 s43-44: Pay the annual charges for ARTG entries and other charges when they fall due, because unpaid charges are recoverable and non-payment can cancel an entry

What does s43-44 require?

Annual registration, listing and inclusion charges fall on the person in relation to whom the goods are on the Register, annual licensing charges on the manufacturing licence holder, and annual conformity assessment body determination charges on the body. For entries and licences that started in an earlier year a charge is generally due on 1 October each financial year (or another day set by regulation). Regulations can exempt low-value turnover, on application and with a statement from an approved person. A charge still unpaid 28 days after it falls due can be recovered as a Commonwealth debt, and non-payment is also a ground for cancelling the ARTG entry.
