A person directing others under 1C or 1D, or experts under Standard 3.3, holds TAE40122 or successor, TAE40116, TAE40110, a secondary teaching qualification plus TAESS00011, TAESS00019 or TAESS00024 (or successors), or a diploma or higher qualification in adult education or VET. The directing person provides oversight, guidance and quality assurance to secure the quality of the directed person's training and assessment, whatever the directed person's background.
