Australia Psychology Board Registration Standards 2025 P-2: Hold provisional registration only to complete an approved supervised practice program, one pathway only

Provisional registration is held because the person needs it to complete one approved program: enrolment in an accredited fifth and sixth (or fifth to seventh) year qualification, a Board-approved 5+1 internship under an approved plan, a Board-approved 4+2 internship under an approved plan, or a Board-specified transitional program. Components of two pathways must not be mixed to make up a six-year sequence, and further training is not accepted as completing an approved pathway.
