Australia Poisons Standard (SUSMP)
Reader's guide, Part 1 interpretation, application of Part 2 and the schedules – Australia Poisons Standard (SUSMP)

Australia Poisons Standard (SUSMP) s11-12: Apply Part 2 to every scheduled substance not exempted, and where a preparation contains poisons in different schedules meet each schedule's provisions or, where they conflict, the more restrictive one

What does s11-12 require?

Part 2 applies to any substance or preparation in a schedule except preparations in Appendix A, substances used in the areas of use listed in Appendix B, Appendix G dilute preparations within their limits, substances in Schedules 1 to 6 at no more than 10 mg per litre or per kilogram (unless also in Schedule 7 or 8), and impurities in pesticides within the APVMA active constituent standards. For a preparation with poisons from two or more schedules, the provisions for each schedule apply; where they cannot all be met, the more restrictive schedule governs, in the order 9, 10, 8, 4, 7, 3, 2, 6, 5, unless the schedules or State or Territory law say otherwise.
