Australia Physiotherapy Board Registration Standards 2016 L-4: Limited registration in the public interest: approved position only

An applicant under s 68 (for example an overseas physiotherapist for a disaster response or a demonstration involving restricted acts such as cervical spine manipulation) meets s 65 including the Board's registration standards, practises only in the specific position the Board approved as being in the public interest, and stops when that position ends; registration is usually for about one month and never beyond 12 months. It is not a route to general registration or a workforce shortage measure.
