An NDIS digital platform is an online application, website or system operated mainly to facilitate supports under participants' plans, where the operator acts as an intermediary between participants and the people providing supports and the operator, an associated entity or a contracted payment processor requires and processes NDIS amounts as payment through it (s 5A). Providing an NDIS digital platform service (class 0137) requires registration and certification against the Core module. Transitional rules as for SIL: existing unregistered platforms may continue only if they apply before 1 October 2026; the s 13D platform conditions apply from 1 January 2027 (s 32(5)).
