Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r431-434: rr 431 to 434 Manage naturally occurring asbestos under a written plan, with training

The person with management or control manages the risks of naturally occurring asbestos under Part 3.1; where it is identified or likely, ensures a written asbestos management plan covering identification, management decisions and reasons, incident and emergency procedures and workers involved is prepared, kept up to date, readily accessible to workers, HSRs and relevant PCBUs, and reviewed when no longer adequate (for example when a control is revised); and a PCBU ensures the r 445 training includes the hazards and risks of naturally occurring asbestos for workers likely to encounter it.
