Non-compliance by the insurer's staff or authorised representatives is a breach by the insurer. A significant breach found internally is reported to the Life CCC within thirty business days of discovery, unless it has been or will be reported to the relevant regulator which knows the matter may also be a Code breach, in which case the regulatory timeframes govern.
