Australia Franchising Code of Conduct (Franchising Regulations 2024) s18: s 18 Act in good faith towards the other party

Each party to a franchise agreement, and a person proposing to become one, must act in good faith, as the unwritten law understands it, in any matter arising under or about the agreement, its negotiation, any dealing or dispute, and the Code. The duty cannot be excluded by the agreement.
