FPA Australia publishes on its website a register of accredited individuals with their class, category and any restrictions, as the NSW Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety) Co-Regulatory Accreditation Framework Guideline requires, and a register of disciplinary decisions. It investigates complaints against accredited individuals and may open an investigation of its own motion. Where an investigation finds a breach of the Code of Professional Conduct, the Scheme's conditions, any relevant regulation, standard or code, the conflict of interest requirements, or a requirement FPA Australia set to resolve an earlier breach, it may caution or warn the individual, recommend additional learning or training, request corrective action, restrict, suspend or cancel the accreditation, or take any other action the Code permits. The individual may appeal a disciplinary decision on the approved form to the Accreditation Appeals Panel. An accredited individual is expected to cooperate with the investigation and to act on the outcome.
