A business caught by this Standard has to meet Standard 3.2.1 (food safety programs): a systematic hazard examination, a written food safety program kept on site and followed, annual review, and the clause 5 content requirements. Clause 6 of that Standard, as applied here, means the program must be audited by an approved food safety auditor at the assigned frequency, the program and records made available to the auditor, and four years of audit reports retained. The business is accountable under this Standard even though the operative duties sit in Standard 3.2.1.
