Australia Disability Standards for Education 2005 s3.5: s 3.5 Consult the student or associate before making an adjustment

Before making an adjustment the provider consults the student, or an associate such as a parent or carer, about whether the adjustment is reasonable, how far it would let the student apply, participate or use services on the same basis as others, and whether another reasonable adjustment would be less disruptive and intrusive and no less beneficial.
