Australia Disability Discrimination Act 1992 s60-61: ss 60 and 61 Disability action plans (voluntary, with required content)

A person bound by Part 2 may prepare and implement an action plan (s 60). If it does, the plan must cover: devising policies and programs to achieve the Act's objects; communicating them internally; reviewing practices to identify discriminatory ones; setting goals and targets where reasonable; other means of evaluation; and appointing people to implement it (s 61). It may be amended and given to the Commission, which publishes it (ss 63, 64), and a plan given to the Commission is a factor in assessing unjustifiable hardship (s 11(1)(e)).
