Australia Commonwealth Child Safe Framework (2020) 1.4-third: Apply child safety requirements to funded third parties where appropriate

The entity puts measures in place to promote child protection in the services and activities it funds; applying the Framework to funded third parties is at the Accountable Authority's discretion, but the Framework recommends that, where appropriate, entities set written child safety obligations in line with the Framework on individuals and organisations funded to provide services directly to children or for activities involving more than incidental contact with children, using the Department of Finance grant agreement templates and the Procurement Clausebank child safety clauses.
