ASIS SPC.1-2009 - Organizational Resilience Standard 4.4.6: 4.4.6 Operational control of operations linked to significant risks, with procedures communicated to suppliers

The organization must identify and plan the operations tied to its significant risks, in line with the policy, the risk assessment, the impact analysis and the objectives and targets, so that they are carried out under set conditions. It does so by keeping procedures for the hazards, threats and risks identified and passing them on to suppliers and contractors; by keeping written procedures wherever their lack could lead to a departure from the policy, objectives or targets; and by setting operating criteria. The procedures must cover how dependable and resilient operations are, the health and safety of people, and how property and the environment are protected when a disruptive incident strikes.
