AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 Industrial Fall-Arrest Systems and Devices - Selection, Use and Maintenance 6: 6.1 to 6.3 Horizontal lifelines and rails: types, selection and safe use

Horizontal lifeline and rail systems (to AS/NZS 1891.2) are selected and designed with end anchorages to clause 6.2.4 and intermediate anchorages of 12 kN, adding twice the horizontal fall-arrest force component where diversion is 15 degrees or more (clause 6.2.5); they carry signs on correct use and loading (clause 6.3(j)) and are used within their stated number of users and clearance.
