Evacuation diagrams must be displayed in the facility where occupants and visitors can see them, with the number and positions decided by the EPC. Each diagram should be mounted with its centre zone between 1200 and 1600 mm above the floor, must be oriented to the direction of egress and the YOU ARE HERE point, and must show as a minimum: a floor or area picture at least 200 mm by 150 mm, a heading reading EVACUATION DIAGRAM, a marker for where the viewer stands (YOU ARE HERE), designated exits in green, warden intercommunication points in red, manual call points in red and emergency call points in white or with a black border, main panels of the occupant warning equipment, hose reels, hydrants, extinguishers (red with their additional class colour) and fire blankets in red, the fire indicator panel and any refuges, the validity date, the assembly area locations, and a legend. Optional extras are door swing, north, first aid, hazardous chemicals, spill kits, emergency information, warden details and green paths of travel. The minimum sheet size is A4, and A3 (with an A4 picture) once additional information is shown.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
