PAP performance should be monitored, measured and analysed to judge how effective the PAPMS is. Procedures should track, measure and judge how well PPS and controls work, including: operational and performance evaluation both routinely and after a disruptive event; communications and information systems; and projected system effectiveness as the organization changes. They should record information to track calibration, efficacy, operational controls, PAP procedures and conformity with objectives. The organization should define what is monitored and measured, how and when, how and when results are analysed and evaluated, and who receives them; act on PPS non-conformance; and keep records of PPS monitoring and measurement results.
