Personal data may be transferred to a third country or international organisation, and onward to another, only where adequate protection is ensured at the destination or specifically for the transfer under Chapter IV, applied so that the level of protection under the Law is not undermined. A foreign court or administrative decision requiring a controller or processor to transfer or disclose personal data may be recognised or enforced only on the basis of an international agreement such as a mutual legal assistance treaty in force with Albania, without prejudice to the other transfer grounds.
