The National Law places statutory duties on practitioners to tell the Boards or Ahpra of certain matters (National Law ss 130 and 141 and the Board's mandatory notification guidelines) and professional duties to tell the Boards, Ahpra and their employers of any limitation placed on their practice. Good practice means the practitioner (a) knows these obligations, (b) complies with those that apply to their practice, and (c) seeks advice from the Board, their insurer or other bodies when unsure.
