Every registered provider must comply with Chapter 4 of the Act (funding of aged care services) and any rules made on those matters: the prices and amounts that may be charged to individuals, individual fees and contributions, accommodation payments and their permitted uses, means-tested amounts, subsidy claims and the handling of unspent Commonwealth and care recipient portions. A breach of any Chapter 4 requirement is therefore also a breach of a condition of registration.
