Unless the entity is a listed company (which already gives an operating and financial review in the directors' report under section 299A of the Corporations Act), the financial statements in the concise report must come with a discussion and analysis that helps members understand them. Its extent varies with the circumstances but in most cases covers at least: for the performance statement, revenue trends, the effect of significant economic or other events, the main influences on costs and performance measures such as return on sales, assets and equity; for the balance sheet, changes in asset composition, the debt to equity relationship and large movements in individual asset, liability and equity items; for the cash flow statement, changes in operating cash flows, how capital expenditure was financed and the servicing and repayment of borrowings; and for the equity statement, changes in the composition of equity and what drove any large change in subscribed capital (rights issues, buy-backs, capital reductions). A listed company may still include such analysis voluntarily.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
